savannah for st patricks day weekend...

can anyone give me some info on the best western central at 45 eisenhower drive. everything else is pretty booked up and this is the closest to the downtow district. please advise. thnx in advance.

It's OK. Nothing special. You'll be close to the Oglethorpe Mall, which is where the shuttles come to take folks downtown. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

You do know the Parade is on The 14th, don't you?

If they still have a place......grab it. You can always cancel it if you find something better.

If you are going to be forced to stay away from all the action, check out Hilton Head SC -- its only 30 miles away.

Hilton Head would normally be an excellent alternative - but if you are coming for the parade, plan on it taking an hour and a half to drive from there to Savannah then dealing with the nightmare of parking.
