BWI to Sleep INN in Inner Harbor

If I catch the Light Rail from BWI to the Inner Harbor at

301 Fallsway (Sleep INN hotel) should I exit at the Camden

Yards station, the University Center Station, or the Lexington

Street station? The hotel is right near the Shot Tower Metro

Subway Station. I'm thinking it might be easier to hail a cab

at the Camden Yards station due to the stadium traffic.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a taxi at the Camden Yards light rail. There's nowhere for them to pull over, and the station sits on the southbound side of a major road headed out of the city, so it doesn't really make sense for a taxi to cruise by that area looking for fares.

You might have better luck heading for a nearby hotel like the Hilton, grab a cab there.

Would the Convention Center Station be the closest one to the Hilton?

Here is my 2 cents: the best stop would be the Convention Center since that would let you out right on Pratt St. (main drag and one way to your hotel area) ..... cabs will be around there. But if you will have any luggage, I always advise to spend the extra money and cab it from BWI for $35 or so. You must wait for Light Rail to arrive at BWI and it is a slow ride designed for commuters and when you add the time to find a cab, it seems that you end up wasting close to 90 minutes. Everyone sets their own standards as to cost/reward and I am known as a truly frugal person but I almost always cab it from airport when I travel, especially with luggage.

I think of the convention center as Camden yards because they are so close but technically the convention center would be best and was one I was thinking we were talking about.

I agree with the other poster that taking a cab or shuttle is a better alternative than taking the light rail.

All cabs have a flat fare between downtown Baltimore and BWI. This will be point to point and well worth the extra money.
