car rental near cruise port

Are there any car rental agencies at or near the cruise port? we are cruising in July and will be driving down from Pa. I am considering a one-way rental down and back instead of taking multiple cars and parking

"Near"--yes by taxi (about $8-$10), but nothing at the port or within walking distance. You would want to rent your one-way to/from one of the agencies with a location in the downtown/Inner Harbor areas and connect with the cruise terminal by taxi.

Everyone has their own standards about how much they'll be inconvenienced to save a few dollars. Locals might be able to find someone who can drop them off and pick them up--but for others driving to Baltimore, there aren't a lot of easy alternatives to just sucking it up and paying the ~$100-$150 cruiseport parking charge. Some hotels offer sleep/park/cruise shuttle packages, but those usually make sense only if you truly need the hotel room.
