a quick layover

We have a five hour layover and would like to leave airport for a nice lunch. Any recommendations? Budget is not an issue - anything goes, other than seafood.

Thanks

You could take light rail (or a taxi if money is not an issue) downtown and go almost anyplace. Little Italy for Italian,

any number of steakhouses (ruths chris, cap grille, sullivans, etc) Some places close between lunch/dinner so timing could be an issue. So, instead of us just throwing names at you, take a look at the restaurant pages and then maybe ask about specific places.

I might take a cab [about $35 each way] to Della Notte in Little Italy. It's bright, pleasant, and good northern Italian food.

Don't forget Annapolis. Cab might be a bit more expensive. You might like the Maryland Inn at Church Circle or Middleton's Tavern at the Annapolis harbor.

Other than seafood....thats a tough one in Baltimore.

Joe Squared is in Power Plant Live, Corner Bistro is always highly rated although I've never been, and Cazbar is highly-rated Turkish food.

Too bad you don't want seafood - G&M isn't too far from the airport. Take a look at their menu since I imagine they do serve something other than HUGE crab cakes.

There is a new Prime Rib in the Maryland Live casino. I believe they run a shuttle from the airport to Arundel Mills where the casino is located. I've only been to the Prime Rib in downtown Baltimore but I imagine the food is the same high quality, they're staking their reputation on it.

Prime Rib at the casino is only open for dinner, though.
