Hello lomillerin,

-Safe Harbor in Mayport for fish and very casual eating outside. $$

-Clark's Fish Camp in Mandarin area for totally different 'decor' and southern cooking. Fun place with atmosphere! $$ http://www.clarksfishcamp.com/

-Barbara Jean's in Ponte Vedra / Palm Valley area, nestled in pristine Florida landscape on the Intracoastal Waterway. Sit inside, or on the deck above the water and feed the fish. There are a couple of these restaurants in the Southeast, but it isn't a chain; the owner is just a successful restauranteur. $$ http://www.barbarajeans.com/

You will, of course, visit Saint Augustine, so...

-Columbia Restaurant in Saint Augustine is a long established, beautiful restaurant. A very civilized place! Look at the different rooms and decide which one you would like to eat in! $$$

-Cafe Alcazar is in a separate building immediately behind the Flaggler Museum. It's in the deep end of the swimming pool of the sporting area of the historic hotel built by Henry Flaggler for the rich and famous back in the late 1800s to go with the railroad he built down into Florida. His railroad passengers had to have a place to stay once he got them down here! Really good food in a classy atmosphere. $$$
