Hotels on the ocean in Jax Beach are the Sheraton, Best Western, and Casa Marina. They are in the immediate area of restaurants and bars. Half a mile farther north of those hotels is the Hampton Inn on the ocean, and Fairfield Inn and Suites across the street inland from the Hampton Inn. All of those hotels are fine.

Go to Google Maps and google "Hotels, Jacksonville Beach Fl" and you will see their locations.

I agree with Scott D. The Seahorse is good and has the Lemon Bar at the pool! This is where our friends stay when they want to have a simple staycation in town!
