Downtown Ritz

Staying there this weekend, just wondering about restaurants within walking distance. More of a casual place, maybe with a TV. Not looking for higher end places. Fogo De Chao does look interesting though.

Thanks and Go Birds

Look at Perch Pub or McGillins Olde Ale House. I really like Perch Pub they have a great rotating selection of craft beers on tap, there is a bar area (with happy hour specials) and also a casual restaurant space that overlooks Broad St. Mc Gillins is a traditional Irish type pub, and is the oldest bar in Philly, the food is decent and moderate priced.

There are also numerous places along 13th St between Chestnut and Locust Sts, but these may be more upscale than you are looking for.

Lolita might not be a bad option (have not been there in a while). More pricey - dress level depend on the crowd is 10 Arts.

A little further afield is Nodding Head and Chris' Jazz Club (disclaimer - have not been to Chris' - have only heard decent things)

What is your budget? There is a wide variety within walking distance depending on your budget as well as cuisine preferences.

One of my favorite bar options with good food & a TV is Good Dog on 15th Street.

There are also lots of good spots along 13th Street between Chestnut and Locust Sts including Jamonera, Barbuzzo, El Vez, Sampan and IndieBlue. There is a new Nomad Roman at 1305 Locust St which has gotten good reviews.

I don't think Oyster House has a TV.

I believe Estia, which has good seafood, has a TV at the bar.
