JFK Airport

What is the best way to get to JFK airport from the Malvern PA area?

Limo/car service is very expensive.

Perhaps a bit convoluted, but probably the most cost effective would be to take a series of trains (although you could substitute a Megabus if you're really up for that adventure).

I believe it would be to take SEPTA from Malvern to 30th Street, Amtrak to NY Penn Station, then the LIRR or Subway from Penn Station to Jamaica station where you pickup the Air Train out to JFK. Don't supposed you could leave from Philadelphia or Newark?

Lasagna has given you the best approach, assuming you don't have a lot of luggage...If you are carrying lots of stuff, car service is probably the most realistic...

Thanks for the info.

Looks like we are going to fly PHL to BOS to Dublin Ireland and just cut JFK out all together
