Cosmi's Deli - Worth the Trip

What are your thoughts on this deli? I do not see many ratings on tripadvisor but many reviews on other sites.

Staying in the Rittenhouse Square area. Looks like a two mile walk which is no problem.

Is it safe to walk in the daylight?

Cosmi's Deli at 8th and Dickinson? I like it; it's where I get my cheesesteaks . Not far from Pat's/Genos it is where the neighborhood folks tend to go. If you like off the beaten path it's good. Also right down the street on the same block is Terminis, a fun old fashioned Italian bakery with pretty good canollis. Though my real favorite is their pignoli cookies.

From Center City go to 9th or 10th St & head South, they're nicer streets to walk on. 10th is more residential & 9th will take you through the Italian Market. All perfectly safe to walk along. You can also take the 47 bus down 8th St.

Forgot to mention, if you're in the neighborhood you also might want to check out Benna's Cafe at 8th & Wharton - good coffee, lattes, teas etc

Do you know if there is free parking in the area in case we stop before checking into the hotel? Thanks

There is free street parking in the area.

Termini's also has a small lot right next to the bakery for customers.

FYI - not a lot of seating at Cosmis
