Rental house

Anyone stayed at a fabulous beach house near Coupeville or Langley? At least 3 bedrooms, no bank. Looking for a few days in September. I see all the listings on VRBO...........just wondered if anyone has any personal insight.

Thanks,

BJS

There are so many. It would be helpful to know what you are considering, your budget, and the map location. Some of the properties will say waterfront, but be high bank. I generally prefer the west facing properties, for the gorgeous sunsets and length of daylight - but I am a Washingtonian, I crave the sunshine and light. The actual towns of Langley and Coupeville both face East, but many properties that list Langley or Coupeville are not in the town per se.

Well, let's see........High bank is not an option.....we will have a three year old and his great grandparents in 70's and 80's, a couple in 50's and a couple in 30's. So.....no bank....or small bank with easy access . My hope is to find a three bedroom at least 2 bath. Budget is up to $350...,but prefer $ 200-250. Am open to any home with a view. Just choose Coupeville and Langley because I have been there and enjoy wandering the towns and will spend some time there. Would love to check out the ones you have rented and what you thought of each. Want an open feel, private outdoor space and easy access to a stroll on the beach. Want to find something beachfront. Thanks for your help.

We stayed here last year and are going again in early July...love it! This is a beautiful and roomy home and I would highly recommend it.

Good luck,

I did have this one on my list but wasn't sure about it's proximity to the water.......can you walk through the yard to get to water? And this one is booked for our visit......other suggestions?

We access to a house, and/or if it is in use usually rent hotel rooms in Langley. The homes we have rented do not match your criteria. Again, if you let us know what you are considering, we can guide you further.

In addition to vrbo, both the Langley and Coupeville Chamber of Commerce maintain a good data base of vacation homes and are excellent resource. The Langley site lets you check availability.
