Need a place to spend the night

I will be traveling to Death Valley in May 2006 and will spend a night in Death Valley. I want to be close to the entrance of Death Valley. Any suggestions for overnight accommodations? Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable.

TET14 Out of my range.......

Good thing we did it in 96 ..That 96 rate might have been a special...

At least in my opinion, the stay at the Furnace Creek Inn was much, much nicer than the Ahwahnee. The real rich that go to the Ahwahnee every year,I'm sure will not share my opinion.

We opted for the Ahwahnee because of our Anniversary 9/13.

What a SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Historic yes,but.................

I stayed in Beatty, NV, just east of DV. I can't remember what the name of the place we stayed was. Nothing fancy but it was reasonably priced.
