New York to MCO

Flying to Orlando after a week in NY.

will have flown international and have luggage.

Any recommendations on airlines with most baggage allowance. At the moment LGA-MCO on jet blue is best price and luggage allowance I can find

Thanks.

Jet blue is the one that came in to my mind. If you have status with any airlines then look at flying with one of their alliance partners. I remember when we had BMI status we got 2 free pieces of luggage each with Continental. Both airlines are no longer with us. Bought over by BA and United.

Definitely worth checking.

Don't know if they offer flights to suit you, but Southwest also gives one bag free to everyone. They do not cross list on other travel sites, you have to go directly to Southwest.com for information.

If you can book your flights NYC-MCO as a part of your ticket from Australia (or where ever you fly from?), you will have the same luggage allowance on the domestic flights as on the intercontinental.

Thanks guys. Awesome Answers as usual.

Southwest don't fly direct so I sort of wanted to scrap that.

I work for an airline so I get the flight in the cheap. Doesn't carry over to USA domestic unfortunately.

Recon I'll go Jet blue today. $122 one way. How's that price sound?

I think $122 is good.

We like to keep it under $250 r/t. $200 R/T is usually the best we can get.

Since you get a free checked bag and the pleasure of jetblue's seats and TV's, I'd book it.

I've used Jet Blue to MCO. Southwest does NOT have direct flights so even though they have a generous baggage allowance --it isn't, IMHO worth it.
