Traditional Christmas Roast in NYC

Hi, my partner and I are staying over Christmas in NYC. Can anyone give info where to go for Christmas Dinner? I appreciate that you guys have Roast Turkey at T'Giving but surely there must be somewhere to cater for us Brits? Any help / advice is greatly appreciated.

Turkey will be available at a few places, although the sides will likely be different. Look into the Rock Center Cafe and the Bryant Park Grill. Also check if The Smith will be open at any of its locations. It's a British-style Gastropub, so they may have it too if they are open.

I just realized that was last year's menu and pricing for Murals. Make sure it,s open and the same sort of thing this year.

Friend of a Farmer is known for their homey Thanksgving meal, but likely also open for Xmas.

Most restaurants take reservations through the OpenTable website, and most restaurants only take reservations about a month in advance. Just after Thanksgiving (November 28th), a lot of the restaurants that will be open on Christmas Day will post their special menus and you'll be able to see the selections and prices.

www.opentable.com/new-york-city-restaurants…

Two restaurants that are already taking reservations (through OpenTable) are the Rock Center Cafe (mentioned by Kate) and its neighbor the Sea Grill. They are in Rockefeller Center and have views out to the ice skating rink.

Again seconding Kate, another restaurant to consider, if it will be open on Christmas Day, is the Bryant Park Grill. It's in another festive location - Bryant Park has an ice skating rink, tree, and holiday market.

Enjoy!
