Clinton St. Baking Co.

I read that this place was supposed to have a pretty good brunch and wanted to get opinions from the experts. I searched and did not find much. We are mainly concerned about the quality of the food over the ambiance and we are willing to spend about $25 a person for a good Sunday brunch.

Thanks for any suggestions.

hiya. i've been there for brunch and dinner and the food is great! it's a very casual atmosphere, almost very neighborhood-y. Their baked goods (like the yummy biscuits!) are delish. one of my friends used to go here all the time. their burgers are also quite good. you can peruse their menu here:

personally, my favorite brunch is at a restaurant in greenwich village called good. it's a latin restaurant, and they have delicious vanilla cinammon and banana pecan pancakes, eggs with corn arepas, chorizo sausage, and fresh batidos (thick fruit drinks). so good! the place is usually packed for brunch. check the menu out:

If you want something in a specific neighborhood, lemme know!

Thanks for the info Calypso. I'll check out those links.

While I have your attention, what about a good place to listen to some live music and drink some beer?

We are staying at the Millenium Hilton April 7-9.

Jazz, blues, acoustic guitar. Something you can sit around and listen to without having to scream.
