Bubba and Bean B & B

Has anyone stayed in this B&B in the last 12 months? What would your feedback be? I cant find anything in the forums that dates past 2009. Thanks in advance

Thank you. I must have been looking in the wrong place. How does one pick a legal B & B from an illegal one ? The reviews seem really positive

I have put friends and family there. Some of my neighbours have put their family there; and would do it again. I have no problem recommending them. It takes less than 8 minutes to Grand Central by subway, or take the Lexington Bus, and you can walk as well.

I live in the close neighbourhood and love walking down Central Park, along the museum mile, you are close to the conservatory as well. However, if you are a jogger that end of the park is the hill-est. So it can be a trial for some :)

You are also close to Madison Avenue which is a wonderful shopping street to walk down. Restaurants tend to be on the pricy side on the Upper East Side on Madison. If you are on a budget I recommend heading to 2nd and 3rd avenues. They cater to families, portions are large and restaurants are in abundance and diverse.

I suggest that if you do choose to stay there (or not) check out the restaurants; Yo in Yo out, Joy Burger Bar and El Paso. Unfortunately, one of my favorite restaurants in the vicinity recently closed (Itzocan Bistro). But, I am sure you will find many other restaurants to enjoy.

There are some other B&B's you can check out as well;

I agree with post no. 3. We stayed at Bubba & Bean from 28/9 - 3/10 2012 and it was great. Welcome basket was excellent with plenty of information as well as some lollies, coffee, fruit etc. Easy walk to 2 subway stops and to convenience stores. Great spot and felt safe even walking home from the subway at 10pm. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
