Subway during peak period.

Will be taking the subway with my big backpack at around 7am,

from 103rd to 34st Penn station. Is it going to be packed like sardines around this time?I'm afraid I might not be able to get off at my stop or is it better to take a cab?

If its so busy you have to stand, just stay by one of the door, I dont imagine you'll wont be able to get off. Just make your way towards the doo when you know your stop is the next one.

No, don't stand by the door, you'll be trampled!!! Go to the middle of the car. If your backpack is really in the way, take it off. When the train leaves the 42nd Street station, you'll have plenty of time to make your way to the door for the next station, which is 34th St.

You'll be fine.
