10 days trip from San Diego to San Francisco

We are going to spend the holidays traveling from San Diego To San Francisco. What is the best itinerary to see the nicest and romantics towns. We would like to stay a few days in one town and take day trips to wineries or just ride bikes around the town and enjoy some good food

Welcome to the Forums!

Move up a level to the California Forum and check the Top Questions (right side of screen, non mobile version) for some great itinerary advice. There are wine countries near Santa Barbara (Santa Ynez) and Paso Robles.

Cambria is a great little town for a stay as well.

10 days is short to see that much of CA. There is SD, Orange County cities! Santa Monica , Manhattan Beach, Santa Barbara ,Cambria , Carmel , Santa. Cruz, San Francisco

Which of those places do you want to see over the holidays when we hope and pray it rains in Ca.
