I need some assistance. A group of us are down in Devens for some military training. Unfortunately, we will be stuck here for Thanksgiving. There's not enough time in the training schedule for us to go home to celebrate the holiday with our families. Since we're stuck on a crummy base, we won't even get a chance to make a feast for ourselves.
I saw that Beantown Man posted an article with restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving Day. Since none of us are from the area, we're trying to figure out what would be the best option for us on Thanksgiving. It would be about 6-12 of us, and we'd like something in the middle price range. The Army don't pay so well, so maybe not more than $50 a plate.
Any place you guys know of that would accommodate us? I know we'd probably need to make reservations, so any suggestions you have would be great.
Also, what else would be open for us to take in? I guess our thinking is that we would drive up to Boston for lunch/dinner, and maybe do some sightseeing since we're free the whole day.
Thank you in advance!
