Blue Man Group on Bostix

I see tickets for 2 performances of BMG on today's Bostix listing. How common is this, or more to the point, how likely is it to occur during our 5 day stay in mid-September? Or should we not take the chance and book as soon as they become available?

Hi Deubster,

There are no guarantees with Bostix. It depends on the day of the week and the time of the year. You are more likely to find BMG on the board if it's not Friday/Saturday nights, or in the winter time, out of prime tourist season. Mid September, however, IS prime tourist season.

You can certainly take the chance that they will have tickets when you arrive. One tip is to get there right when they open for the day, and not wait, as tickets can go fast.

However, if you would be really disappointed if you missed seeing BMG, buying the tickets in advance is the only way to go.

Good advice, thanks. The difference in price is a decent dinner, so I thought I'd check. Don't want to risk missing it, though.

BMG is the most fun thing you can do. We have been twice. Do not miss it when in Boston. Start looking for tix about 6 weeks in advance on:

www.ticketmaster.com

First time we went we were in front row center and we had a ball. Second time was a group of four and best we could get was front row center balcony.

Do not shy away from any seat as the theater is tiny...very tiny!
