It's in a good central location near the Back Bay T and Copley Square. It's in a fashionable and safe part of town. That said, I know nothing about the Inn itself, only the location it's in. The reviews on this site from people who've stayed there don't sound so good though.

The Chandler straddles the "border" between the South End and Back Bay, really close to the theatre district, making the location very convenient for shopping, dining, and public transportation. There is a neighborhood sports bar on the ground floor that caters to the local gay crowd, but being in a residential neighborhood, the noise is kept to a minimum.

A friend stayed there several (10+) years ago, and the room was clean, but basic. Private bath, small TV, air conditioner, etc. A decent place at a reasonable price, but don't expect a suite with panoramic views and four star room service.
