Spring break vacation

My wife and I (mid fifties, decent physical condition) plan spring vacation. First time to big bend. Staying at terlingua ranch lodge for 5 days. Like to do combination of hiking, river float and horseback rides and scenic drives. Considering one of the atv trips. Trying to decide on which tour operators for river and horseback and whether to do self guided or tours for hiking. Is atv trip worth it since its kind of expensive. Suggestions for must see and must do would be helpful. Suggestions for best tour operators also helpful. Suggestions for dining and evening activities too. Thanks for any advice.

Drive the Ross Maxwell scenic drive, walk up the Santa Elena canyon. Visit the Chisos Basin. We hiked the Grapevine trail, it was nice and not too hard. The gravel road in was a bit rough.

Visit the hot springs.
