I want to ask some locals for advice. I stayed at the Raddisson at Fishermans Wharf last sept. During our stay the fire alarm went off and the hotel was evacuated. A guest had discharged a pepper spray causing throat irritations. The FD came and asked every guest to be 'checked out'. They took my blood pressure, thats it. They asked if I wanted to go to the hospital and I said no. They asked me to sign a form stating I was turning down further medical treatment. I am now getting billed for $365 for Fire Dept services. Is this a common complaint??
Since the billing is being done by an outside agency I'm not too optimistic of getting any sympathy.
