Restaurant with a view of the Bay?

Hello-

We are leavaing for SF on 04.08.06 and staying for 9 days at the Grand Hyatt in Union Square. We have booked dinner reservations at Gany Danko's (sp?) and at Postrio.

Can anyone recommend a restaruant with lovelyviews of the Golden gate bridge and/or the Bay? It doesn't have to be upscale.

Thanks-

Definitely McKormick and Kuleto's. The restaurant is configured in tiers so that no one has a bad view, out of the floor to ceiling glass fronting the bay.

I would reccommend Slanted Door. Upscale vietnameese...very interesting and very good. It is located in the Ferry Building and many of the tables have views of the water and the bay bridge. Reservations are very tough to get but worth a try.

FYI- the views will still be very good, but right now our beautiful bay is dirty brown! It's not polluted, it's just that we've had unprecedented rain in the last month, and most of the tributaries that flow down from the Sierras empty into the bay, so there's quite a bit of California soil floating in there!

Another restaurant with fantastic views is the Waterfront on Embarcadero. The food gets mixed reviews but the location and views can't be beat.
