Restaurant on Sunday for lunch

We are flying in Sunday morning into sfo and would like to get lunch and see the GG bridge before driving to Monterey. Would like some recommendations for a memorable restaurant.

Thank you in advance

Sunday’s here are more brunch than lunch. Green’s has a great view of the Bridge. It’s vegetarian and been around a long time. Excellent even if you aren’t vegetarian.

However I will say that driving up to SF then back south will be an extra 2 hours to your drive.

You might recount logistically how you intend to carry this off. Uber from SFO to eat lunch see bridge? Rent car at SFO to drive up to have lunch? Your time. You might consider going directly to Monterey.

"You might consider going directly to Monterey."

Not if they won't have another chance to visit San Francisco.

What will you do with your luggage? Don't leave it in a parked car, anywhere in San Francisco.

Is the car cheaper in the city? The selection is much better at the airport and it seems much more convenient.

But the whole plan is not advisable, leaving a carful of baggage while you have lunch is not advised, even in covered paid garages. At the very least don't leave anything in the car that you cannot live without...take it with you in a backpack or something.
