Definitely book an Alcatraz tour with Blue & Gold Fleet (www.blueandgoldfleet.com) and get the audio tour as well. It's worth it. Other than that, there's a lot to do in SF. You might consider biking the Golden Gate Bridge. If you like shows, there's "Beach Blanket Babylon," the longest running show in SF. It's a lot of fun.

I would also suggest just exploring the different parts of town. Don't miss Chinatown and the North Beach nightlife.

The 3 day Muni pass is certainly a good idea. It'll get you anywhere. Have fun!

Golden Gate Park, especially the Japanese Tea Garden.

If you can get tickets to a Giants baseball game, the ball park is gorgeous.

Have a cup of coffee and watch the people in Union Square.

Take the cable car (the Powell Street line ends a few blocks from Pier 39, which is where you'll pick up the Alcatraz tour).

Eat dinner at Tadich Grill on California (take the California St cable car -- the lines cross at the top of Nob Hill). Speaking of Nob Hill, have a drink -- it'll be pricey -- at the top of the Mark Hopkins Hotel.
