Same space. Owned by The Gazebo. Any questions?
Yes, this was posted last week as well. Can't wait to see a menu.
I'm looking at the menu. What do you want to know?
I had so much hope for the Mai Tai Lounge, the first time we went their (year it opened), but the service seemed to go downhill fast, based on reviews and our own experience the following year. I wish the new team much luck in what's a really strange location, tucked in behind a few stores.
kaukau, what's the general theme of the menu? What are some of the highlights?
Aloha grandeau! B 10-3. L 10-3 D 5 -9 Eggs and such, all kind pancakes, omelettes etc. $7.95 - $12 .25
Lunch like dinner but about 1/2 price! Check out my earlier post too! What else? Theme is local kine grindz and American favorites priced less or equal to their neighbors. The Gazebo has a huge following.Edited: 4:28 pm, March 25, 2013
Thanks, kaukau, I just found your other post on KOAs. What would you say their style was? Steakhouse? Fish place? Hawaiian style? Any other restaurants you'd compare it to (from a menu standpoint)?
Awesome! Sounds like it's worth checking out, this summer. Thanks for the info.
Anytime, grandeau! It's too sunny to go for lunch today........beach.......but the Chef has walked around inviting some of the locals in for some aloha, my wife being one of them, so as soon as it gets cloudy for lunch I'll make her take me for s some Kalua Pork and some seared ahi. Have 'em fax you the takeout menu (808) 667-7737. If something interests you I'll try it! When it pops into the Lahaina Restaurant section, I'll review it! Feel free ask me anything for a little local knowledge.
I'll definitely try it as well, let us know if they get a website.
We love the gazebo breakfast and the ladies that work there are super so maybe we'll check out Koa's in june.
