Maui Kamaole

Has anyone ever stayed at the Maui Kamaole unit A204? Is it a good place to stay overall? Is there shops/restaurants/food markets in the area?

I've never stayed there. But it's in a nice spot - across the street from the beach & just down S. Kihei Rd. from numerous restaurants, markets, etc.

Great place to stay, although the a/c is only in the living room.

Pool area is nice and big. Do your shopping at Costco, save money. Great places to eat, Peggy Sue's - great burgers

Fernando's for Mexican Food - Stay away from tourist restaurants - Lulu's over priced, ask the locals, you can always get good advice from them.

We stayed there this past July & have already made plans to stay there next July. We were in a one bedroom condo w/ a.c in the bedroom & the living room. The layout is nice, clean rooms & beautiful grounds. We reserved a two bedroom with ocean view for our next trip & from the looks of the floor plan, we won't be disappointed. After staying at the Royal Kahana & the Kamaole Sands, we chose the Maui Kamaole hands down.

You are also very close to KKO restaurant, they have a great brekfast called Loco Moco you simply must try it. Oh and don't forget the Ahi Poki at the Foodland market in Kihei, it's to die for.
