does Emmalani Court have on site recreation (tennis, etc)?

Hello - we are on the verge of booking some time at the Emmalani and I saw on one review that they had tennis and basketball courts. I can't see anything describing this listed on any rental site, so maybe the reviewers had their resorts mixed up. Can anyone confirm what the Emmalani offers besides a pool? We are coming with our two boys who would dearly love to play tennis and basketball. We are not golfers but we don't mind the golf course view. Also, is there anywhere else to play basketball in Princeville if the Emmalani doesn't have a court?

I believe they were referring to the basketball courts on Emmalani Drive not Emmalani Court. That's the street that intersects Ka Haku at the fountain as you enter Princeville. There's a park right there that has playground equipment, bathrooms and I believe at least one basketball court. Emmalani Court itself does not have a basketball or tennis court but is only about a 10 minute walk from that playground area with a paved walking path the entire way.

Emmalani Court does not have basketball or tennis courts.

It has a nice, big hardly busy, pool, with BBQs and a clubhouse. Nothing else........except the best snorkling spot on the island a few feet (hike) away (Hideaways beach)!!!

I love Emmalani!

parrishkauai.com/kauai-condos/emmalani-court/

here's a map (click on tab that says resort map) provided by parrish rentals of emmalani-court. you could give parrish a call to see exactly what amenities they have--there is an 800 number on top of this link. looks like there is a pool. or you could send a question to one of the emmalani court condo rentals on vrbo.

For tennis and basketball you need to look at Cliffs. Tennis and great pool, Hanalei Bay Resort. Tennis and okay pool, Puu Poa. Nice condos at a budget, Emmalani Court.

Thanks everyone! We decided to go with Cliffs this time, for the sake of the kids. The condos themselves aren't quite as nice, but the views are good and the pool and basketball will make the kids happy:)

Yes its a good spot for kids. They have a little putting green, of course the mentioned basketball courts and the pool was redone a few years ago and though very small, they did a nice job. The units are okay. The "lanai's aren't the greatest, but the kids probably don't care about sitting out and watching sunsets?
