kayak rental

Is there a place in Hanalei you can rent kayaks for less than a whole day?

Thanks,

Maybe, but you're only looking at $20.00 for a whole day...

We have rented from kayak kauai twice. It is a 24 hour rental. We go up river one afternoon and go back in the am and go the other way.

That's more than being able to rent them for the entire day.

Yep, we also rent through Kayak Kauai, and I cannot remember what we paid, but we paddle up the river, and also down river to cruise beautiful and amazing Hanalei Bay. Some times we have waterfalls slicing down the mountains, and playful dolphins joining us. We also kayak surf the waves back into the river mouth.

After our fun paddling, we walk next door to the Hanalei Dophin for Bull Burgers ( filet mignon ) and a couple of welcome cold brews.

We have also lead, or joined in the Sierra Club, Hanalei River Clean ups, with about six double kayaks with folks who also want to volunteer to help out. Actually, it is a fun time, and then our group also walks over to the Dolphin, or some will drive. River is pretty free of debris when we have done the clean ups, so most people are taking good care not to trash it.

We call for reservations, but usually they tell us that it is not necessary. However, we are driving up from Lihue and want to be assured of having a kayak. Never had a problem.
