Never stayed there but I know it's a nice property on the golf course, just not on the ocean. All the condo properties in Waikoloa or Mauna Lani are nice, just depends on how much you wish to spend and how close you wish to be to the water. The good thing about staying in these two area's is that you won't be surprised by some run down condo after you check-in. Many properties to pick from!

I have not stayed there, but we own some units at the Beach Villas which are built by the same developer and have the exact floor plans as the Fairway Villas. The complex is less than 10 years old and is very nice. It is across the street to shops and restaurants and is a 10 minute walk to A-Bay beach. If possible, I recommend getting a top floor unit or a 3 bedroom unit to avoid the sounds of the unit above you. Have a good trip! :)

We are debating on staying in this condo also. Looks nice and reasonable price when are you planning on going?

We have stayed at Waikoloa Fairways Villas a few years ago.....not this unit however.

We stayed in a 2 BR + loft top floor unit..There is a lack of sound proofing in the complex......doors slamming reverberate throughout when Housekeeping staff go about their duties....not to mention other guests.

A main floor unit is ideal however if one is traveling with wee ones.

One design flaw at Fairway Villas is the lack of a closing door from the Master bedroom into the adjoining bathroom. If one gets up through the night....and turns on the light it is impossible to shield this from one's bed partner.

The tile floors and hardwood floors are a nice feature and easy to clean.

There are many properties that offer a BBQ on the Lanai...which is tremendously handy. Pool is not heated.

We have since stayed in a variety of units throughout Waikoloa Beach resort and Mauna Lani. There are many choices.South Kohala is a wonderful destination.

Staying here in 3rd floor condo. Beautifully decorated. Absolutely everything is in top shape. The trade winds are a bit wild, but this area is well maintained and is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Definitely worth it! Make sure you get a 3rd floor condo.

Staying in a 3rd floor unit. Beautifully decorated, great kitchen, walk to great restaurants and shops. Make sure you get a 3rd floor unit. A bit windy this time of year, but it beats East coast weather anytime!
