Just returned from a long Sept. weekend at the Hotel Terra in Teton Village and wanted to add to comments posted here. Some of the other posts about construction were helpful as we requested ahead of time to NOT be on the construction side and request was honored. This will be going on for some time as the building is in the early stages of construction and a huge crane sits in view from these rooms. However, the rooms on the other sides were great. We loved the contemporary and "green" feel of the hotel and even used our recycling bin, which we have never done while traveling. Our studio suite had a lovely kitchen equipped with most everything we needed, nice living area and bathroom with whirlpool tub. The only drawback was these studio rooms are really pretty tight for space, with almost no place to put your suitcase especially when the murphy bed is pulled down. We felt pretty cramped but it was certainly fine for a couple and worth saving the money compared to a 1 BR unit yet much better than the standard hotel room because of the living area and kitchen. It seemed a little weird that the rooftop hot tub was only accessible 11-7(spa hours)but we were able to use the adjacent hotel fitness center, pool, and whirlpool without any problem. We did not eat at their evening restaurant but were told by a couple we met on a horseback ride that it was terrific. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely plan to return to Teton Village and the Hotel Terra.
