Accommodation in Cody

Can anyone recommend accommodation in Cody suitable for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, 9 & 8) we are happy to stay in one room. We don't mind whether it is a motel or b&b.

We're trying to keep costs down so are looking around the $150 per night inc taxes.

Thanks, Julie

We like the Cody Cowboy Village, others on TA like the Best Western and the Cody Legacy Inn.

We stayed at the Cody Legacy Inn this past summer and liked it a lot. The rooms have logpole furniture, and the beds are very comfortable. A free continental breakfast is also provided. Rooms were quite clean, and there's an outdoor pool.

Last year, we paid around $125 per night.

We stayed at the Best Western Sunset Motor Inn last year and it was fabulous!

We had a family friend with us, and our 15 yr old daughter. We had a "suite", It was a combination of one room with a queen sized bed, own bathroom, desk, tv, and all the amenities (which were numerous) and another room with 2 queen beds it's own bath and all the amenities. I think we paid around $160.00 per night.

The regular double rooms are much less. The property is wonderful, very clean, pretty grounds, great indoor and outdoor pools, laundry facilities and is right across the street from the property owned Sunset Family Restaurant. You can read my review of this property under the "hotels" section of the Cody Forum.

However, from what we saw of the town and concerning the high percentage of great reviews for lodging in Cody, I don't think you can go wrong no matter which property you ultimately choose.

I stayed at the Beartooth Inn and loved it - on the edge of town so quiet and yet with the back road access to the museum and rodeo grounds it was very quick to get around town. For some reason it is listed as an inn and not as a hotel in the TA listings but it is a hotel.
