wilderness waterpark v Kalahari

Currently at wilderness for $99 a night, considering switching to Kalahari for one night at $140, good idea?

Do they have any tube slides for 42 inches that are not completly pitch black?

Wolf isnt available and Chula is $99

We haven't stayed at Kalahari yet (plan to this summer) or Chula, but did stay at Wilderness a few months ago and loved it. Since you already have it booked (and prices are lower than Kalahari;-), I would stick with Wilderness for this trip.

At Wilderness, they do have a few of those (two, I think indoors) huge water "playgrounds" that my son (8 at the time) really liked. They had a few waterslides on those that are a bit bigger but not huge, and not enclosed. Kids 3 and up (maybe 2?? I saw some kids who looked really tiny using them) could do down alone. You don't land in a pool of water at the bottom, but rather slide to a stop in a sitting position, so great for kids even if they can't swim.

Wilderness tube slides - They have open slides in the kiddy area. I believe that all of the other tube slides are dark. However, they have some that you can ride double on.

I assume that there is a cancellation fee at Wilderness. If yes, I would stay. Wilderness is a fun, large waterpark with a lot of variety. I prefer Kalahari, but if you've been to neither, either one would be great. Both are very good rates.

Tonight is our second night at wilderness, going to Kalahari tomorrow :)

Other waterparks have tube slides that are enclosed but not pitch black, hoping Kalahari has one :)
