Historic Stoughton welcomes art lovers of all ages on June 19 & 20 to experience its second annual “Fine Artsy Fair” – “Because Great Art Should Be Fun” ! On Friday evening, the event opens with a Gallery Walk with hosted receptions for dozens of local artists, plus openings for new galleries & shops. On Saturday there will be a range of art exhibits at the Gallery Walk locations plus Street Artists, Classes, Demonstrations, Live Music and Food up and down Main Street. And to finish it off, you can step back in to yesteryear for the first ever Silent Movie at the Opera House - featuring the original 1924, Lon Chaney version of Phantom Of The Opera. Now in its second year, the Fine Artsy Fair is a celebration of Stoughton’s cultural heritage. Its historic arts district is the backdrop for a wide variety of artists in almost every medium.
