need place to stay - 1 night - 6 people

will be visiting orcas island for one night. arrive sat and leave sun. There are 6 adults and would like help finding a place to stay.

I don't want to pay for 3 hotel rooms.

Most vacation rentals - have min stay requirements.

Could also take the last ferry from orcas island to friday harbor and stay there for the night.

Any ideas?

As mentioned in the TA article provided earlier, I have to say, aside from the difficult lodging situation, arriving on a Saturday and leaving on a Sunday is going to eat significantly into your time on either island. The ferry waiting times, for boarding, are quite long and if you miss one, it's a while for the next; they are infrequent as you'll see if you check the schedule (again, provided in the article). Frankly, IMO, it's not worth doing in this way. You can use your time better elsewhere.

According to your other post, you are here for a weekend. Visit Whidbey Island instead.

try smuggler's villa on the north end of the island which has 2 br townhouses, or the landmark condos in eastsound.

but i have to agree that if your trip is in the summer months, going on a saturday and coming back on a sunday is not a good idea. adding another ferry ride from orcas to friday harbor would make it even worse.
