Kettle Falls to Omak - Lunch Stop

We'll be driving from Ainsworth, BC to Seattle via SR-20 in August and (after stopping at Crawford St. Park in the morning) will probably be looking for lunch stop between Kettle Falls and Omak.

Any suggestions for unique or interesting restaurants in any of the towns on the route? OR...better yet any great scenic picnic spots? Perhaps Sherman Pass or Sherman Creek Falls or somewhere along there with a picnic table?

Tonasket is a cute little town. Friends of mine have a rustic cabin near there. It is a tradition to eat at the Tonasket Pizza Company on 4th St. Good stuff!

DeTro's Western Store in Riverside is a fun stop, too, but not for food. Riverside is almost a ghost town and has an actual ghost, they say.

There is a riverfront park in Tonasket for picnicking.

Thanks. Based on repsponse on the Crawford St. park question I am leaning toward the picnic route and finding a grocery in Metaline Falls or Colville for components.
