proof of age for children tickets to Busch gardens?

I will have a 5 and 6 year old. I know the 5 year old should get in free, but do I need to bring a birth certificate?

The Busch Gardens Williamsburg website states that proof of age, either birth certificate or passport, is required for the preschool pass for ages 3 to 5. It also states the offer must be registered online or in person by May 31, the tickets are valid for the summer until Sept 10. Check their website for more details.
