Help needed to find a place

Hello All,

We are a small family of two adults and one toddler ( 2 years old ). We need some help in getting the right accommodation and activities for a week in the month of September Lahaina or kaanapali. Our budget is around $300 to $350 per night. We have both resort and condo as options but couldn't able to decide which one would be the best for our family. We are mostly trying to relax in this trip and letting our toddler run around and enjoy. I would like to choose condo but there wont be much activities for the kids and adults too or great pools . If we choose resort , for our budget there wont be any good ocean front views...Please suggest any place where we can have great pools, activities and good ocean front views. ...

We split our time at the Houna Kai condo through vrbo.com. It is nice to have the extra room and a kitchen for a week. Then we spent our last three nights at the Hyatt in Kaanapali. Got the rate with the free breakfast buffet and ocean front. There is a fridge to keep drinks and snacks. The pool and play area for children was fantastic. There is a rope bridge, a cave and waterfall. At night we could take the shuttle from the hotel to Whalers Village down the street where the restaurants and shops are.

When our kids were small (a looooong time ago), we always preferred a condo. It allowed us to keep them in their morning routine and they could wake up and have breakfast in their PJs as opposed to having to get them up and dressed and into a restaurant. It makes a huge difference in the morning.

Cruise VRBO for the available options. The Westin vacation villas are kid friendly and have a great kids pool as an example.

The condo units at Honua Kai are awesome! We were very happy with our stay there. Enjoy Maui! :)

I would opt for the condo ... one with a washer and dryer!
