culebra flights ferry beaches snorkeling

I would really like to take the ferry there and back, if we get there

on a sunday do you think we 4 people can get a morning ferry there and evening back?

if we miss the ferry can we get a flight at the airport?

I have heard good snorkeling beaches are Soldado, and Carlos Rosario: if we rent scooters can we get there or do you recommend taxi?

I have been to PR several times and really want to go to Culebra!!

You should make it ok to Culebra and its best to leave early to get to the ferry terminal to buy your tickets, as the morning ferry leaves at 9:00 am from Fajardo. In regard to the return trip back to the main island, neither the ferries or the flights travel at night, so if you miss the last ferry at 5:00 pm, you are stuck on the island.

Melones is also excellent snorkeling. Like snorkeling with turtles, then Tamarindo would fit the bill!!

Skip Punta Solado. As mentioned, head to Melones and Tamarindo. Carlos Rosario is good, but a bit of a hike. Head to the "far right" (east end) on Flamenco for excellent snorkeling ... but beware of the current there.

Take a publico from ferry to Flamenco area.
