Places to stay in Culebra in February

We loved Culebra when we were last there, but that was 10 years ago. We stayed at Tamarindo Estates at that time, and liked it very much. But, we thought we'd see what else is available before we decide. We'd ideally like a 1 BR with a queen bed, a kitchenette and outdoor sitting/lounging area. We'd also like to have access to a swimming pool and have a short walk to the beach, or at least a lovely view or the water.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

My top 2 picks would be:

1. Casa Pueblo

Casa Pueblo

Has a *small* pool, view of the harbor, is walkable to ferry > where you can catch the publico to Flamenco Beach, Is also walkable to both Dingy Dock and Mamacita's Restaurants :)

2. Casa Ensenada

Right on Honda Bay BEAUTIFUL View and sitting Area, IS ALSO >> walkable to ferry, where you can catch the publico to Flamenco Beach, and walkable to both Dingy Dock and Mamacita's Restaurants :)

I don't know if they are already full, but I would try Brisas del Mar. It's a house overlooking Ensenada Honda. Two BR, full kitchen, small dipping pool and an incredible view. The prices are comparable to other places. Not within walking distance to a beach, but Punta Soldada is close.

You do need a car as it is is up a very steep hill.

We're returning for the tird time in March.

Don't forget to check out the rentals available through Culebra Vacation Planners, on island. You can find their listings through http://www.allvacationreservations.com and you can check out Bahia Marina too.
