Going to corralejo mid-march

going with my girlfriend for a week. staying at Blue Sea Dunas Caleta Club. Was wondering what the area will be like. will it be busy round this time? Is there a decent amount of bars and restaurants, decent nightlife?

Mid March is carnival time in Corralejo. So loads of stuff going on including the carnival parade March 16th. E vents start about a week earlier and go on to the great finalie on the Sunday. Which of course is St Patricks day. All in all its a great time to be here. This years theme is The Carribean. So don't forget your costume and party with the thousands of locals, tourists and expats.

You should definitely get a tan we have been twice in feb and got good tans! It's a little breezy, which is good in the heat apart from sunburn! There's some great bars usually offering good drinks offers to get you to go in! There's one called flicks bar which is really good does some really nice cocktails and also has some fun and games!

I'm also going the beginning of march (from the 9th), i know it can be windy in Fuerteventura, but will it (in generall, i know nobody can predict the weather) be warm enough to wear a bikini on the beach and shorts/tshirts? :)

Mid March is a good time to go. We're flying out on the 16th for a week ourselves.

You'll catch the end of the carnival which is the best bit. Plenty of decent bars and restaurants, something for all age groups too.

....and yes....you should come away with a tan. Nice comfortable daytime temps.

Cheers
