Pram friendly / long walks

Hi there,

We are taking our 18 months old babe to cala dor in August and staying in the ferrera blanca. We like to walk and wondered if the resort is connected to other resorts so that we can walk between the two? Are the paths Pram friendly? Distance is not an issue as we have to walk to occupy he babe - no chance of sunbathing :-)

You can have some good walks just in Cala D'or . It is fairly spread out and your hotel is right on the edge of town . To walk into the main part of town is a good hike in itself and to walk to the marina and round to Cala Egos would test anyone . Saying that , in August the heat will be an issue , it will be red hot . All paths / roads are ok for walking with a buggy .

Hi

We were in April with the pram and again in July. We were also on the edge of Cala Ferra in an apartment.

It is a bit of a walk into town but all pavement down hill and up. However, I would do it may be twice a day on July we will probably stop off at Paparazi's for a drink - a few steps with the buggy before going into town.

Every where is accessible going down to the beach at Cala Esmeralda or Cala Ferra its steps down which is manageable if there is two of you. At both places there is bars and places to eat. There are supermarkets and chemists throughout town that will also sell milk / nappies. You may want to get your sun cream at boots at duty free. Also we had a sun cover for the pram when she was sleeping - a large black net that also keeps off bugs.

A great holiday with kids we are going back with 3 in July one a teenager. enjoy - water is great for kids - shallow and graduated in good weather.

Cala dor is pram city!! It is perfect for pram walking, we have three boys and over the years we have walked cala dor with their prams!! lol We stayed in cala Azul apts the first time we took the boys and enjoyed walking down to the marina. We now always stay marina end but is still good for pushing our grandchild if he comes with us. Enjoy Cala dor it is special.
