We have family who have stayed there and rated it highly although they were there when the temp was 100 F+ and they found it difficult to cool down. There have been problems in that hotel what with accomodation blocks collapsing but that was a few years ago. We drove past there out of season when it was closed last winter and there was a good deal of touching up to the surrounds going on.If you are not totally committed to this hotel/resort you can do a lot better for the same money in Majorca.

Don't worry there are loads of great places for 50 yearolds. If you want recommendations let me know what your priority requirements are and in particular do you mind children about and when are you going?

Hi Andrew,

the wife and I were here Aug 07 and even though it rained for 4 out of the 10 days we were there we can honestly say that this was a brilliant hotel in lovely surrounding. All of the accomodation blocks looked to be in excellent condition and we enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. We were unlucky as the last rain they had had was in April, it was just my luck that it happened when we were away. The hotel is near to the lovely son balo beach and about 10/15 mins stroll to Ca'n Picafort. If you do book this holiday don't miss the cheap local trip to the Crestx Bodegas. The vino is fab as well as the local liquers. You can ship home a case of wine for around 45/50 euros inc transport. We are both just 50 and would recommend it to any one 20 years either side of 50.
