Hiking on Andros

My husband and I will be touring the Cyclades in June and are trying to decide which 4 or 5 islands to visit. We love hiking but also love a nice sandy beach. Is Andros a good island for this and if so should we stay in Batsi? Will we be able to take a ferry to another island after 4 or 5 days?

Yes Andros is a good choice for your requirements. Batsi is a good place to stay. On a regular ferry line down to Tinos > Mykonos. Connections from there have been covered in endless posts.
