Looking for Must Try foods! Traditional and unusual...

Hello TA!! it's me again,

I'm going to be in Granada June 29 and would like to try as much yummy and unusual (unusual I guess by "American" standards) in Granada, masaya, and surrounding areas ( ie: white towns I think they are called)

Love street food and food markets! Am a foodie with extreme taste ( I love fine dining but there is nothing better that traditional street food!!)

Reading the post Diary from Felschurch made me soo hungry! I can't wait to be there!!

Thanks

Yesi

in Granada you have to try Vigoron from the main square or the north west corner of the local market. Fresh water bass (whole fish) go to las colinas del sur ask for a local cab they know, Nacatamales from ixchen clinic 2 block west ask for doña teodosa or south side of the old hospital ask for Chu if you buy 2 you can invite one i live very close.nacatamales only on the weekends. Desserts from marialena with a nice cup of coffee from the fire department 1 block west, many tipical food at Comidas tipicas y mas First restaurant on la Calzada. Mondongo soup (on fridays) or beef soup (on mondays) there is a Cantina (Working class people bar) from xalteva church 1.5 blocks north is call la frontera you can get the soups there. Baho north west side of the market infront where they sell vigoron and many more.
