Koh chang and islands

Visiting thailand for the first time in jan

We are spending 3 nights in Bangkok

Then a couple at river Kwai

We then want to see koh chang koh kood and koh mac

What is the best order to do them in and how long should we spend on each

We have 8 or 9 days

Thanks

The order depends if you want to do the busiest first or last. Either koh Chang - Koh Mak - Koh Kood or Koh kood - Koh Mak - Koh Chang.

All have different atmosphere. How long you spend on them depends on what you want to do. Koh Chang has by far the most activities, shops, bars etc. The other islands are better if you want to laze around in peace and quiet. Koh mak is better if you want to ride a bicycle around an island. Koh Kood is great if you want to ride a scooter around with no traffic.

Koh Chang - Koh Mak is 600 Baht, Koh Mak - Koh Kood is 400 Baht, or Koh Chang - Koh Kood is 900 Baht. buy tickets from any tour agent on the islands.

Go back to the mainland, you don't have to go back to Koh Chang. See www.destinationkohkood.com for boat schedules etc.

Hi again

I have booked 2 nights joh kood then 2 nights on koh mac and then the remainder of stay on koh chang

Will this give us a flavour of these islands.

Before the islands we are visiting river Kwai so is it possible to get from Kwai to koh kood in 1day.?

And if so what is the best way to do this

Thanks

Some people need a travel agent, rather than Trip Advisor, if they can't be bothered to do anything themselves :).

Just come across this thread whilst busy researching my Jan 2015 Trip.
