Lodging with campfire/firepit near Charlottesville

My family and I are planning a wine tasting trip to the Monticello wine trail near Charlottesville, and are interested in accomodations that have space and allow for a campfire or firepit. We found such accomodations on our last wine tasting trip (the Finger Lakes of NY) and found that it was the finishing touch to a long day of wine tasting - more wine and laughs around a campfire - and no where to drive after drinking late into the night. Any advice is appreciated, but we tend to sway away from camping in tents on trips like this.

Thanks!

Welcome to Trip Advisor. Check out this website for accomodations in the Shenandoah National Forest. It is the only place I know that has an out door fire pit for guest use.

Also check montfairresortfarm.com. Cabins located in Crozet in a beautiful location.

"We often host bonfires with our events and rates are posted below. We are

also happy to offer just a bonfire w/ no use of the lodge and no hayride

for a rate of $200.00.

If someone wants a small campfire included with their cottage stay we are

also happy to do this for a very minimal fee of $20.00."
