Romantic place to eat

Hi, My husband and I are coming down to Charlottesville for a week-end in late Febraury. We would like some sugestions on great places to eat. Knida unique, kinda romantic. We are thinking of eating at Prospect Hill, however the thought of not being able to order off of a menu doesn't really excite me. Especially at $50 a plate.

Any input would be greatly appreciated...We are staying at the Foxfield Inn.

For romance, I suggest these three places:

Clifton Inn - http://www.cliftoninn.net

Fossetts at Keswick Hall - http://www.keswick.com

C & 0 Restaurant - http://www.candorestaurant.com/ -- eat upstairs.

All pricey, but worth it!

I agree with Jejuna -- and C&O is a Charlottesville downtown classic.

here are some more options to think about...

vivace is a nice, romantic italian restaurant located on ivy road. http://www.vivacecville.com/

l'etoile is a fine-dining establishment that serves French-Virginian style. food.http://www.letoilerestaurant.com/

maya. http://www.maya-restaurant.com/

for the best breakfast in c-ville, head to bluegrass grill located at 313 2nd St. SE. the place is quite popular among locals, so there will be a wait. but it is soooo worth it.
