Is Ben and Jerry's worth seeing?

We are planning a trip the first of Oct. We will be taking day trips from North Conway. Is this worth visiting as one of our day trips?

Thanks for your comments!

For Ben & Jerry's alone..no, it's not worth the trip. However, if you plan spend the day in the area, there is lots to do. On your way to or from North Conway, stop in CAbot and visit the cheese factory. Stowe (just up the road from Ben & Jerry's is a great place to visit. Gorgeous scenery. I The drive to/from North Conway is beautiful. It'll probably be about 2.5 hours one way.

Would you consider breaking up your stay in North Conway? Spend a few nites there and a few in the Stowe area?

As a mother of young kids and a lover of ice cream. I vote YES it's worth the trip BUT as the other poster states there is a lot more to see and do in the area and it is a faily long drive for a day trip. I would try to do an overnight and really enjoy the area.

On the campus of the B&J factory there is a flavor graveyard, playground and free arts and craft booths.

The tour is only mildly interesting. Be sure and get there relatively early. It's silly to stand in line for an hour for 15 minute tour.
