Snow Skiing Dec 26-31 in Sugarbush, Stowe and Smugglers Notc

My sister-in -law is concerned there will not be any snow. Will these locations have snow--man made or otherwise--

Are the slopes normally 100% open Dec 26?

Unless we get a HUGE dumping of snow I would not expect the trails to be 100% open.

All 3 resorts mentioned are open but with limited trails. Rest assured it is cold enough and they will be pumping out as much man-made snow as possible!

Lets hope for a big storm next week!

Historically you do not have 100% at most areas on the 26th. But conditions typically change rapidly over the next ten days.

If any ski area is going to have the most trails open, it will be Stowe. However, like stated previously, 100% open is not the norm for this time of year. But, we can have quite a bot open, and it can open very fast. The colder the weather, the better.

There should be some decent skiing on limited trails through the Christmas week. The forecast is looking good for snowmaking and perhaps we'll get some natural snow here and there.

It's good that you're checking out those 3 places - they're all nice in different ways and may have slightly different snow cover. Enjoy! Here's the 10 day forecast:
